Bill Riden is the Pesticide Education Specialist at Penn State’s Pesticide Education Program. Bill comes with over 20 years experience in the pesticide industry. He worked for O.M. Scott, W.A. Cleary Chemical, Mobay, and Rhone Poulenc Ag Chemical in their respective turf and ornamental divisions. More recently, Bill has helped home gardeners in his capacity as garden department manager at Esbenshades Garden Center and Stauffers of Kissel Hill Garden Center. Bill also has lots of hands on experience from his childhood on a farm and his work experiences on golf courses and greenhouses. Bill is a Penn State graduate with his degree in Agronomy with emphasis on turfgrass management.
